Clipper

A hundred-year-old symbol

In the middle of the 19th century, clippers crossed the oceans and brought back from Brazil their cargoes of tapioca for the Groult company. The picture of a clipper was printed on all the packs of the Groult company products.

Meanwhile, Georges Billard registered the "Petit Navire" brand ("Little Ship") in 1896 (the year the "Belem" was launched), and combined it with a picture of a three-masted ship. Tipiak has remained faithful to its overseas traditions by continuing to use the picture of a clipper in its brand logo.
